Two Universities Look To Save Money

Two of Kentucky's universities are looking for new ways to save money to fight rising utility costs.

U.K. and Western Kentucky University are facing more than a half million dollar deficit in their utility budgets as rates for energy, water and sewer skyrocket.

Western officials are planning to completely shut down their campus for winter break after graduation.

UK officials are debating lowering thermostats in all educational buildings from 73 to 71 degrees.
