Police Use Taser On Chase Suspect

Lexington Police officers escaped injury late Thursday night after they say a suspect they were chasing slammed into one of their cruisers.

Police tried pulling over the car at Harrodsburg Road and Lane Allen on suspected drug and traffic violations.

The driver wouldn't stop and led police to New Circle Road, where police say the driver, Cameron Jacobs, 18, hit a cruiser.

When Jacobs ran out of the car, officers used a taser on him.

He's now charged with fleeing and evading.

He also faces traffic and drug charges.

The passenger in the car was arrested on outstanding warrants.

I can't help but wonder what this kid's upbringing was like. Don't get me wrong because there's a chance he could have had a good Christian upbringing etc, but chances are he didn't. I think it's imperative that we (as parents) raise our kids in the ways of The Lord so they'll hopefully refrain from this type of lifestyle. I pray this kid will search for the real answer, which is GOD!!!!

It's sad really that this boy is so misled at such a young age. Maybe his situation will teach a lesson to a younger brother or something so they don't follow the same path.

Unfortunately he probably didn't learn any lesson. He's only 18 and ramming police cruisers. Go ahead a chock this one up for a life of courtrooms and prison systems.

Looks like a typical thug. The COPS did what needed to be done and maybe this kid will learn a lesson, get a hair cut and grow up.

Stupidity doesn't pay and I have a feeling that this guy has learned something. The sad part is that this will cost him in some way for the rest of his life.
