A crash Friday afternoon in Pike County sent three people to the hospital and shut down U.S. 119 in Belfry for hours.
State police say a woman's car crossed the median and hit an SUV and then slammed into a truck.
The truck's fuel tank ruptured, spilling diesel on the highway.
Firefighters say the woman in the car was not wearing a seat belt and has severe injuries.
Two people in the SUV also went to the hospital.
Firefighters say the diesel froze on the road, so it took a few hours to clean it up.
State police do not know if weather played a role and are still investigating.
