Crash Causes Laboring Mother To Deliver In Car

It's an amazing story of how a baby boy is born into the world.

Rebecca Hall, spoke with 27 NEWSFIRST Wednesday about how her wild trip to the hospital was nothing but typical.

The wild ride began when, on her way to the hospital, the car she was in was rear ended on US 127 in Russell County.

The young mother was actually in labor at the time in the back seat of her grandmother's car, so much so, the baby was crowning.

Hall says the force of the collision pushed baby Ethan out!

Ethan Jacob Hall is a healthy 7 and a 1/2 lbs. He and his mother are both just fine, still recovering.

I'm so glad they are doing well. It's hard enough to give birth in a hospital with doctors and nurses standing there much less in the back of a car! Congratulations, being a Mom is the best gift in the whole world!!
