Someone might have gotten a sweet smelling Christmas gift under the tree, but police say the perfume bottles could be stolen.

The Morehead News reports police are looking for information regarding a shoplifter who walked out of a Rite Aid store with more than 600 dollars worth of cologne and perfumes.

Police say the offender spent 14 minutes unwrapping 40 separate items and then put them inside his coat.

Store managers say the items range in price from 15 to 17 dollars.

Anyone with information is asked to call Morehead police at 784-7511.

You couldn't pay me $5 to $17 to wear that nasty smelling stuff they sell at Rite Aid. And this fool actually takes a chance at spending years behind bars to steal it...

This person spent 14 minutes in a store unwrapping the items he was planning to steal and no one stopped him as he was leaving? Apparently he is on the store surveillance tapes so my question is this...WHERE WERE THE CASHIERS AND MANAGERS? I have been in several Rite-Aid stores lately and the cashiers and managers are tripping over one another to help people. I have a cousin that needs a job. Anyone know the store location and number? After this mess there should be jobs available

14 mins who was scared to stop him that would have been time to get the police there they need to fire the employees for letting this go on so long

Well you'd think that within 14 minutes and 40 items somebody would have stopped him.

If they know he spent 14 minutes unwrapping 40 items then why don't they know who it is? What was he unwrapping anyhow.
