Police swarmed a north Lexington bar and night club after a customer who was kicked out returned with a firearm.
It all happened at the Horseshoes Saloon and Steakhouse on North Broadway. Lexington police say 48-year-old Greg Vaught was intoxicated and behaved in an unsuitable manner prompting security personnel to kick him out. He then went to his vehicle and returned with a firearm before taking off on foot.
Police surrounded the area and searched with K-9 units. Vaught was found about 45 minutes later on the southbound I-75 off-ramp.
Vaught has a history with Lexington police including concealed weapons violations and terroristic threatening.
No one was injured in the incident.
