Relatives of 42-year-old Scott Miller describe him as a proud man who was a good provider. Visitation for the truck driver from Frankfort was held Sunday evening in Lancaster.

Miller died after being shot during a violent crime spree in Dallas last week. The gunman was a former Utah State Trooper who went on a shooting spree in the Dallas area before taking his own life. Miller was behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler and managed to get it stopped despite his injuries. He was on his way to the airport to fly home for Christmas.

Miller's funeral will be held on Monday in Lancaster.
