Stolen Cab Found In Frankfort; Search For Suspect Continues

A Lexington cab driver's ability to stay cool under pressure may have paid off late Sunday night when he was carjacked.

He says a rider pulled a knife on him and then drove off with his cab.

The driver was able to get help by flagging down an ambulance on Paris Pike near the Bourbon County line.

The driver told police he picked up the suspect, possibly named Tim, at a Shell station near Hamburg in Lexington.

The suspect told the driver he was originally from Hazard and was working with quarter horses.

Police found the stolen cab Monday morning behind a Best Western in Frankfort.

The suspect has not yet been identified and is still on the run.

Should be easy to catch him. Not too many people named Tim. Glad the Cabbie's ok.
