Porn Industry Bailout?

Kentucky native Larry Flynt and Girls Gone Wild CEO Joe Francis are asking congress for a piece of the bailout pie.

They want billions to save the adult entertainment industry.

The two adult entertainment giants issued a joint statement, asking for a 5 billion dollar bailout and calling on congress to support the adult industry.

DVD sales and rentals are off 20 percent, according to Francis, but the industry isn't exactly headed for bankruptcy.

The adult entertainment is estimated to bring in anywhere from three to 13 billion dollars annually.

Why not? I love looking at the magazines. Oh "Tammy" BUTTS you mean? But then again maybe not. If you were hot enough to make six figures a year dancing you would too. Too bad the poles aren't made for heavy weights.

While I'm not a big Larry Flint fan, If this is what I suspect, his idea is a good one. Look at Coles post. I agree. You know Larry Flint not only ownes Hustler magazine, his company ownes several other mags that are in the mainstreem, do a search. People say Flint is a bad person, but I say he's pushing the limits and keeping the gov't in check. Keep pushing Larry.

I agree! Actually, I think like some on here does and that is old Larry is just trying to make a point on how silly it is to bail out everyone of the big wigs since they are taking the $$ and running.

I heard this on Jay Leno and thought it was just one of his jokes. Then I get on here to read the news and find out is not. How ridiculous! But you know it would not suprise me if the government did bail them out. Our government is the joke.
