Search Continues For Escaped Inmate

The search continues for a man police say escaped from the Pike County Detention Center.

Police are looking for 30-year-old Michael W. Farley of Lovely.

Farley allegedly forged another inmate's name on a bond release form and simply walked away.

He's six foot one, weighs 315 pounds, has black hair, a beard and a mustache.

He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue pajama pants.

Farley was initially arrested on theft charges.

well it sounds to me like the workers at the pike county detention center are not doing a very good job and not taking enough time to know who is who,any kind of criminal could have walked away being a murder or a much more troubled person.we need more protection for the saftey of our county than what we are getting.someone needs to wake, plus what about the work release escapes that goes on all the time.we need better security for our families, schools, children.
