Styrofoam Busters

A group of eastern Kentucky middle school students are making their school more environmentally friendly by changing the way they eat lunch.

Three members of the Corbin Middle School PRIDE Club urged school officials to replace their Styrofoam lunch trays with reusable ones.

Tyler Reynolds, Ethan Carnes, and Allison Smith won a PRIDE award for their "Styrofoam busters" project.

School officials are installing a dishwasher so they can start using reusable lunch trays soon.
