Tire Explodes In County Employee's Face

An employee at Perry County tire is in the hospital after a tire exploded in his face.

It happened just after four o'clock Friday afternoon in Hazard.

Police say the man was working on an 18-wheeler truck, when the tire exploded.

There were no witnesses and the victim's name is not being released.

He was taken to the Hazard ARH, no word yet on his condition.

    It was a tire that exploded. I think the article should be updated. It states no word on his condition. The gentleman died. I will not post his name out of respect to his family.
