Search Continues For Suspect in Cumberland Pharmacy Drug Diversion Case

Officials are looking for a woman accused of conspiring to steal and sell thousands of dollars worth of pills from the Cumberland Pharmacy in Harlan County.

A grand jury indicted 27-year-old Stacy Gail Stacey in November along with her husband, 33-year old William Scott Stacey.

Officials arrested William Stacey last month, but have not been able to find his wife.

The couple was first arrested back in 2007 and officials believe they moved from Harlan County after their release in December 2007.

Anyone with information should contact Operation UNITE.

Were they released without bond in Dec. 2007?? Why did it take so long to indict them?? Were they indicted on NEW drug charges, or are they the same ones from back in 2007?? How and where did they find her husband?? The story didn't have enough details.
