Boulders Fall Inches From Man's Home

A Perry County man believes coal mining is to blame for boulders falling just inches from his house!

Johnny Melton bought this home a few months ago, and large rocks started falling on Saturday. Melton is now waiting on a mine inspector from Frankfort to look at his home. So far the damage is only on the outside but Melton is worried about what could happen next and is keeping his family away from the falling rocks.

"I'm keeping them at the oldest daughter's house and my wife's here, she's staying in the farthest part of the house," says Melton.

He says he wants to keep his home, but will have to move if no one helps him.

People are always looking for someone to blame for their problems. I wonder if the homeowner ever thought to look around the place for hangin natural rock cliffs before he bought it. People wake up, the government cant always force someone to take care of you, sometimes we have to use our own mind and think for ourselves.

Johnny, don't hold your breath waiting on a coal company to accept responsibility, you need a good lawyer NOW.

Yeah, Ben, a scam by the coal company. Don`t you miners live close to the mining operations, ever notice the companies always say it`s the miners fault when they get hurt? He-- they won`t even take care of their own.
