American Idol Contestant Disqualified

An American Idol top 36 contestant is disqualified.

AI producers issued a statement that Joanna Pacitti is ineligible to continue in the competition.

Contestant Felicia Barton will replace her.

Producers didn't go into any further detail about why they outed the Philadelphia native.

Tabloids have been reporting Pacitti has been having a "private relationship" with an executive of 19 Management, one of the companies that oversees the show.

Pacitti also caught flack from idol fans because her resume includes professional credentials, including two record deals.

Obama was offered the chance to replace the contestant but was disqualified because you have to have an authentic American birth certificate.
