Arrest Made in Violent Robbery, Search Contines for Second Suspect

A violent robbery caught on tape leads to one arrest.

We first told you about the hold up at Lyons hardware in Frankfort last week. Surveillance video showed of two gunmen robbing the store.

One of the suspects picked up a shovel and hit the store manager seven times over the head.

A Frankfort man is now in jail charged in the robbery.

Robbery victim Charlie Yagel told us the arrest brings some relief, “I was really nervous always looking around. I’ve been really jumpy, I'm just so glad that they caught the guys.”

Police charged 25-year-old Davis Norton Jr. with robbery.
Norton remains in jail on a $100,000 full cash bond.

The other gunman remains on the loose.
