Major Drug Distribution Chain Has Been Disrupted

A traffic stop leads to arrests in what police say may be part of a major drug distribution chain.

Police say they stopped a car with 19-year-old Kevin Michael McIlquham of Letcher County and 21-year-old Daniel Shaw sharp of Harlan County on U.S. 119 near Cumberland late last week.

They say the two had almost 30-thousand dollars worth of OxyContin pills in the car.

Both were charged with drug trafficking.
