Nicholas County Principal Suspended

A principal accused of beating up a student on campus is now suspended.

A spokesperson for the county board of education says Joe Orazen is no longer being paid by Nicholas County. Orazen was caught on tape allegedly throwing a high school student to the ground after an argument over a cell phone.

The board says Orazen has the right to request a hearing from the Commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Education.

Anyone who thinks its ok to do what Joe O did to this child is stupid and doesn't deserve children let it happen to mine and we will see if he like hitting on a man instead of women and children.

As we all have learned, some stupid people would give him a gold medal and shake his hand. The rest of us who have some common sence would not be very happy and would like to slam the slammer. The princple needs to be a man and take a slamming for the team. I just dont know how anyone in there real mind, could stand up for the mistreatment of our children. What is wrong with these people? Could it be because there DEADBEATS TOO ?????????

The situation between Joe Orazen and the student has nothing to do with everyone else on the streets. Everyone has the right to speak, and sometimes others don't like it , give it a break. I pray for each family and hope things work out for the best. But for others to get on wedpage and leave comments about others it's childish. (Whoever you are). When I enter carlisle the sign says Small Town With A Big Heart. It should read Welcome To Carlisle A Small Town And Alot Of GOSSIPE!! The lady spoke her mind about situation O'WELL. My thoughts and prays out for both families. GOD BLESS YOU

The truth is out he did it and the video shows the whole thing. I am sure the little boy was running his mouth but he did nothing to be slammed for. Joe is a man who's heart is in the right place but he needs helps with his anger. I have been praying for him and the little boy. I wish this would end it is tearing our little community apart and is dividing friendships. We all need to ask ourselves what we whould do if our children had been slammed like that!!!!

How does a such a serious issue concerning our principal and someone's child end up by everyone in this small town making personal attacks on eachother? I think that everyone does have the right to their own opinion and usually when people ask you for your's, in reality, they really don't care to hear it. Personally, I believe that if you have a disagreement with someone's opinion, you should be woman/man enough to voice it to them face to face and not on some pointless webpage competing for ratings. What happened to Joe Orazen and Dusty Greene being the subject of the comments? The fact of the matter is, this is a situation where there are no winners on either side. Dusty Greene and Joe Orazen both are in the wrong and should be punished for their actions. It's not up to you, me or anyother random person off the streets to determine the punishment for either party. People, yes including me, need to stay out of the situation and let the court system determine the proper outcome.

Becky, everyone knows you have an opinion about everything, and yet you oneday will realize that your a REAL LIFE DRAMA QUEEN. And yes we all have opions but you choose to think that someone really cares what your is.We all know you and do know what you are.... I think the princple should tell his side if he really has one. Kids now days are not hard to raise if you know how to handle them. You have to give a little to get a little. It's called TRUTH & RESPECT.

TO ALL OF YOU ALL AT HOMETOWN VIDEOS For one don't ask my opinion, for two this web page wasn't designed to comment on everyone else. I think at the top it states Joe Orazen the last time I checked. I have a right as a american to speak my mind like everyone that's left comment. I support Joe Orazen until the hole truth comes out, and for those who says to me to get a job and quit bumbing I think for one whoever you are get a life because who sure don't know mine. If i recall i think my comment didn't read that BIG BENNIE was called 22 times. Until a web page is designed with post comment for me-- since you know me so well leave it alone. Who cares what I think ,you think or anyone else. The TRUTH will come out.

I am sorry and may be a bit confused, but where is the responsibility for the local school board and there officials? My concern is that after hearing this man’s past criminal charges how did he get a job in the school? I was under the presumption that teachers could not have a criminal record and work with students. I suppose if you have the “connections” to get a job then that’s all the qualifications that you need. When can we be free of the Good Ol’ Boy system and hire people that are really focused on the student and their improvement?
