Judge Could Rule On Motions In Abuse Case

A judge may rule on several motions in a Perry County abuse case.

Charlotte Crawford, Billy Crawford and Penny Ford are accused of beating, starving and holding Donna Hicks against her will for four months in 2007.

Their first trial ended when Judge Bill Engle declared a mistrial.

Prosecutors now want separate trials and a change of venue.

Defense Attorneys want Commonwealth's Attorney Teresa Combs Reed disqualified.

Judge Engle is expected to address these and other issues Friday afternoon.
