Suspicious Package Shuts Down Downtown

Things are getting back to normal in downtown Lexington after a suspicious package brought traffic to a standstill.

The briefcase was found around 3:00 Thursday afternoon inside the post office on High Street.

The building was evacuated and the bomb squad was called to the scene.

They used a robot to remove the package and detonate it.
