Stephen Eastin has been named the manager at Pine Mountain State Resort Park in Pineville, Parks Commissioner Gerry van der Meer announced.
Eastin previously served as the assistant park manager at Barren River Lake State Resort Park. He had been serving as the interim manager at Pine Mountain since Jan. 1.
Eastin, a Bowling Green native, earned his degree from Western Kentucky University in 1992 and began his career with the Department of Parks in 2002 as the fitness manager at Lake Barkley State Resort Park.
He moved to Barren River as the assistant manager in 2006.
Pine Mountain, located in Southeastern Kentucky, features a 30-room lodge, cottages, a restaurant, a convention center, Wasioto Winds Golf Course, an interpretative center, hiking trails, and nature and recreational programming.
Pine Mountain State Resort is located one mile south of Pineville on US 25E.
