Octuplet Mom Fears Hospital May Not Release Babies

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Nadya Suleman appears to have bigger worries
than taking care of her 14 children.
Talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw says she may have to prove she
can handle the load, or else have hospital officials withhold her
newborn octuplets.
McGraw says the 33-year-old unemployed mother called him
yesterday. She was distraught that Kaiser Permanente officials told
her they were concerned about the babies living at her home near
Los Angeles.
Property records show Suleman's mother is more than $23,000
behind on mortgage payments and the home is under threat of
foreclosure.
Kaiser officials won't comment on Suleman's case.
Suleman has taped two episodes of McGraw's "Dr. Phil" show.

I agree with Joe from London. She is looking for someone to step up and pay for her House by getting more national attention. She should have thought about that before becoming a Human incubator.

taxpayers, taxpayers,at least your money is going toward helping,I sure this women will be working 7 days and nights to taking care of her children.

The 14 children that this woman has will be the ones to suffer. How can she expect to provide for them the quality of life they deserve. No child asks to be brought into this world, that is the adult's decision and this woman surely has no judgement at all. No help from the government? No handouts? Give me a break! You do well to raise one child without help in todays economic crisis and she expects to raise 14? She probably thought the publicity would net her all the help she needed. And forget reprimanding the doctor. Take away his license to practice medicine and make him responsible for paying to care for these children. A child needs more than just love to survive!

She's really got us in a bind, doesn't she? We can be disgusted with her but there are 8 innocent children involved that we can't turn our backs on. She knew this. She's already letting us support the six she had and knew without a doubt that the taxpayers would take on these 8, too. Not to mention the financial rewards she might reap from the publicity. This woman is out of touch with reality, and my reality is that I'm working 6 days a week to support my own family...and now hers? This is just blatant selfishness and ignorance and we'll have to clean it up like we are the rest of the people who make selfish bad decisions. Absolutely incredible to put the taxpayers in this position.

I totally agree. The government is taking care of this woman. Yes, she is of foreign decent but she will never leave the country because she cannot get welfare outside the u.s.

I think people ought to be praying for this blessed mother and her children instead of complaining.Pray that this mother can bring all her little babies home from the hospital and be with the others little children to care for them.I'm sure alot of other mothers have had some help from the goverment. Why not her?

Well,I think people should leave this woman and her children alone. It's ashame people has to talk about these little babies that's still in the hospital waiting to get well enought to come home to be with their family. The kids she's got now at home seems to be happy children and people give this women a chance to care for her children. If this was what she wanted than that's her business don't you think? To be able to have this many children was a blessing from God.Just pray for this mother and her children and pray for these babies to get to go home healthy. God blessed her with all these little chilren. He will help her through this. Some people ought to worry about there own business and leave this woman and chilren alone. If she gets help with these children she deserves it just like alot of people gets. God bless this family and please pray for them instead of taking about these little blessed chilren and their mother.I think the goverment ought to help her out until she can.

The AMERICAN PEOPLE can not keep giving their paychecks to pay for welfare and people like her that is desperately needing a wake up call. I would bet you that her and her so called DONOR and her parents are not even from AMERICA. SEND THEM BACK TO THEIR LAND.

First of all, she is just a government leech. She claims she does not want the help but she gets it and wants more. This lady is not wrapped to tight in the head. You can tell by her actions, words, etc. Why in the world would you want that many kids in today's economy? If she is going to college, she is taking her sweet time finishing. She has broke the state of california.
