Well-Known Suspect Sentenced On Burglary Charge

He made headlines for taking a swing at his attorney. Now, he's learning his punishment for his original crime.

On Monday morning, Peter Hafer was sentenced on burglary charges. There's no word yet on what that sentence turned out to be.

Last year, Hafer made national headlines when video came out of him striking his lawyer in court.

During a jailhouse interview with 27 NEWSFIRST, Hafer says he snapped because the judge refused to grant him a new court-appointed attorney.

Public defender Doug Crickmer had to go to the hospital after the attack.

Hafer has already been sentenced to six months for that assault.
