A Frankfort mother is back home in Kentucky with her kidnapped daughter who was at the center of an Amber Alert.
Breanna Woodside's mother left for Texas on Wednesday morning.
Police found the two-year-old with her father, Miles Thomas Woodside, in Monterrey, Mexico Tuesday night.
Frankfort police say Woodside was tracked to a Holiday Inn in Mexico after he made a phone call to his mother who lives in Alabama.
Mexican police and FBI agents responded to the hotel on Tuesday afternoon, but there was no sign of Woodside. About an hour later, they returned to the hotel to review security tapes and an officer spotted the wanted man.
Woodside and his daughter are now in Laredo, Texas.
The search for the pair started on Friday night after Miles Woodside failed to return his daughter to her mother in Frankfort.
Woodside and his daughter have been spotted in several states including Alabama and Tennessee where police say he abandoned a car.
Breanna Woodside and her mother arrived in Lexington's Blue Grass Airport Wednesday night.
So far, Miles Woodside faces charges of custodial inference and the theft of a car. Police say he'll face federal charges for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
