Police Shock Man Over Jerky

Berea Police end up using a Taser on a man they say was stealing beef jerky.

Clerks at the local Circle K store say 33-year old William Smith was leaving the store without paying for the jerky.

They contacted police who then chased down Smith and questioned him. The responding officer says Smith tried to get away and police used a Tazer and then made the arrest.

To Tina: Dont cry when someone breaks into your house and steals your stuff. You could offer them yard work around your house.

Good for the cop. No matter if it's beef jerky or a plasma TV, stealing is stealing. If this man was hungry and had no money, there are other ways to get food.

Did any one ever ask the man if he was hungry..stealing is a crime..couldnt this man been offered to work for the jerkey. Think about it. offer ppl work and they would be less stealing. dont get me wrong i dont uphold stealing or any other crime. but our country has got out of hand.now the state is going to have to keep him up instead of putting him to work..May God Bless Our Country...If the courts took the criminals back to where they stold from and made them work in public they would think twice before stealing..they would ask first...
