The father of one of the men killed in a fiery crash in Johnson County two weeks ago files a wrongful death lawsuit.
Eddie Lee Patrick's 21-year-old son Anthony Patrick and two others died when the pick-up truck Anthony was riding in collided with a Pepsi truck, and then caught on fire.
Patrick claims the Pepsi truck driver, Rick Brown, was operating the truck in a "reckless and negligent" fashion before the crash.
Patrick is asking for a trial by jury and unspecified compensation.
A lawsuit only represents one side of a case.

Jill, that is not true. Eddie drives a big truck as well. He knows the risk in driving one. He knows not to cut across the center line to avoid an accident. Instinct will make you steer to the shoulder. He wants answers as to what happened. You are to have complete control of your vehicle at ALL times.

Mr,Patrick all of the "Articles of Incorperation" for the 911 System, "Policy and Procedures" are at the Johnson County Courthouse, Paintsville City Hall and the Paintsville/Johnson County Dispatch Center. Which is also at Paintsville City Hall. Everything you need is at these three places. And you will need all "Three". You can "Act" under the "Open Records Laws" to try to get this information. But I strongly advise that your Attorney's get these records for you. When you go around asking for stuff like this, people get mad! And you have been though enough as it is, so have your Attorney's get it for you. There is so much more to this, I can not type it all, so if it is ok? I'll call you this Saturday at 1 O'Clock if it is ok with you? Is your number still the same as published in the 2008/2009 Phone Book? The way to help others in future accidents and help the Fire Departments, is to SUE the 911 Dispatchers Professional Insurance who neglected to provide "Basic Standard Proceeder."
