Police Track Down Suspect In Bizarre Robbery

A suspect in an early Thursday morning robbery in Lexington didn't get very far.

Police say the robber took a cab to the Denny's on Nicholasville Road.

When the suspect went inside, police say he gave the cashier a note, saying he would blow up the place if he didn't get cash.

After taking some money, another employee took the money from the suspect.

Police say the suspect then ran to Edgemoor Drive, where police found him hiding behind a home.

Larry Harless, 38, is charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree criminal trespassing.
