A Salyersville man is on the run after officials say he escaped from a Whitley County Jail transportation van in Corbin.
Jail officials say 45-year-old Douglas Anthony Shepherd was last seen near forbes crossing wearing an orange jumpsuit.
He was arrested on September 19th after Corbin Police say he led them on a chase through Whitley and Laurel Counties.
