Two People Accused Of Robbing & Murdering A Man Appear In Court

Two people accused of robbing and murdering a Bell County man faced a Judge Monday.

Police say Lora Amburgey and Joshua Parsons tied up 70-year-old Paul Slusher in his home in January, and then robbed him before throwing him off a bridge into the Cumberland River.

Amburgey and Parsons are both charged with murder, kidnapping and robbery, and are due back in court May 18th.

I agree Judy. The courts should start letting the punishment fit the crime. The courts are too lenient now. It should be an eye for an eye. The criminals should die in the same way their victim did. Maybe all this senseless killing would come to a halt if they would do that. Instead they get put in jail to be fed 3 meals a day & have tv and other recreation without having to worry about paying bills. Its too easy for them. It has come to a time where taxpayers cannot afford to keep on keeping them up. Even if they get death they usually die from old age without ever getting the death sentence carried out. Thats just ridiculous. When they receive a death sentence it should be carried out immediately instead of waiting years & years & millions of dollars spent on them.

The courts shouldn't be wasting tax payers time and money...they know these people are guilty, so they should just take them to the Page bridge tape them up....dangle them off the bridge awhile just let them to think about what they have done, then drop them into the water and let them be in their watery grave....JOB DONE....
