Corrections Officer Pleads Guilty To Giving An Inmate A Weapon

A corrections officer at the Big Sandy Federal Penitentiary pleads guilty to giving an inmate a weapon.

Kevin Christopher Fallen was charged last year with three different counts of violating an inmate's rights or knowingly hurting him.

He reached a plea agreement this week and pleaded guilty to one charge of giving an inmate a knife.

As part of the deal, his other two charges are dropped.

Another corrections officer, Larry Miller, is also charged.

His trial was supposed to begin this week, but the judge agreed to postpone it after Fallen's guilty plea.
