An eastern Kentucky man could spend 40 years in prison after being found guilty of murder.
A Breathitt County jury has recommended Blake Haddix of Clayhole serve 35 years for the murder of 85 year old Woodrow Mullins in September of 2003, and an additional five years for a second-degree assault charge.
Haddix will be formally sentenced in November.
