One Of Two Men Accused Of Killing A Man Pleads Not Guilty

One of two men accused of shooting and killing a Laurel County man pleaded not guilty Monday morning in district court.

Adam and Mitchell Carpentar appeared through a teleconference in the Laurel County District Court.

Adam Carpentar pleaded not guilty and will appear at a preliminary hearing on October 10th.

Mitchell Carpentar said he did not understand the charges against him. His arraignment is continued to Wednesday.

Both men remain in jail on a bond of 250-thousand dollars.
