Audit Uncovers Improper Spending At Pharmacy College

Four people were fired and three others reprimanded at the UK College of Pharmacy.

An internal audit turned up more than $20,000 in improper or undocumented expenses.

The Lexington Herald Leader reports the questionable purchases include sports tickets, expensive wine and thousands of dollars worth of working meals.

Chief of Staff Doug Bruce and Finance Administrator Steven Gray were fired.

Two people in the Continuing Education Department William Shelton and Steven Scrivner, were also fired.

UK is now beefing up oversight.

    I hope this also applies to the sports program.....I am still not clear how much the basketball coach is to be paid.....UK is a joke of a school anyway.
