A southern Kentucky couple is in jail tonight accused of abusing two children.
The department for community based services removed the children aged one and two from a home on Garret street in the Ferguson community of Pulaski county.
Police arrested the children's mother, 20-year-old Jennifer Gains and her live-in boyfriend, 19-year-old Dustin Davis.
Investigators say they were able to document bruises on the children's faces and they say the children received the bruises when Davis allegedly slapped them.
Both Gains and Davis face a felony charge.
