A southern Kentucky couple is in jail accused of abusing two children.
The Department for Community Based Services removed the children, ages one and two, from a home on Garret Street in the Ferguson community of Pulaski County.
Police arrested the children's mother, 20- year old Jennifer Gains, and her live in boyfriend, 19 year old Dustin Davis.
Investigators say they were able to document bruises on their faces and they say the children received the bruises when they were slapped by Davis.
Both Gains and Davis face a felony charge.
