Kentuckians Canceling Trips To Mexico

Phones were ringing off the hook Monday at a Lexington travel agency. Callers wanted to cancel their upcoming trips to Mexico because of the swine flu.

As of right now, Arty Estes with Travel Authority says airlines are cooperating with clients who want to cancel their trip to Mexico.

Kentuckians with upcoming trips south of the border are worried about the recent outbreak of the swine flu.

Estes says it's probably best to cancel, reschedule or re-route your trip because airlines are not penalizing people for changing.

Estes says, "They're working with us and letting us change or cancel or do whatever people want to do without paying penalties for anything."

Only someone who is too cheap for a real vacation would want to go that place.
