Man Pleads Guilty To Second Degree Manslaughter

A Perry County man originally charged with murder after a deadly crash pleads guilty to second degree manslaughter.

Police say Stephanie McDaniel died in 2007 when the truck she was in, driven by Eric Reed, rear-ended a truck near the intersection of highway 476 and highway 80 in Perry County.

The Floyd County Times reports reed also pleaded guilty to reckless driving.

He was sentenced to eight years in jail.
