Some southeastern Kentucky communities are still recovering from heavy winds late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

Many were left without power and Main Street in Cumberland was even blocked by debris.

Jessica Miles says she heard loud booms as the roof on Shelby's Liquor Store landed outside her window.

School at Cumberland Elementary was called off.

The wind snapped power lines leaving many stores dark.

Shingles at the Britthaven Nursing Home were blown right off the roof causing some minor leaks there.

With all this damage it's hard to believe that no one was seriously injured. One bright spot as residents continue to clean-up after heavy winds Kentucky Utilities officials tell us that power has been restored to all the affected homes in the area.
