A Wayne County mother, whose son died after she drove her car into Lake Cumberland, is now facing some more serious charges.
Wynema Worley was initially charged with manslaughter in the death of her eight- year old son. Worley has been indicted on wanton murder.
Worley will likely be arraigned on the upgraded charges on November 6th.
Back in August, police say Worley had drugs in her system when she drove her car into Lake Cumberland. Worley had previously been charged with 2nd degree manslaughter. Worley's attorney has said Worley tried to save her son.
