One woman is dead after a two vehicle accident in Floyd County.
Police say 61 Lorenne Griffith of Martin was pronounced dead at the scene after a car crossed the center line of route 1428 near the Allen community in Floyd County and hit her vehicle head on.
Police say the driver of the second car, Melissa Conn, is in stable condition at Saint Mary's Medical Center in Huntington.
