A woman's ex-boyfriend is arrested for murdering her current boyfriend Friday night in Knox County.
Police say they believe jealousy caused 31 year old Marty Slone of Hindman to shoot and kill 35 year old Anthony Craig Goldsmith, off of Old Barbourville Road in Knox County.
10:30 pm Friday night and Bobby Miller and his family are all inside their home.
"My mom and her boyfriend were on the computer in the kitchen, and I was lying in my room on the bed, watching television," Miller said.
That's when they say a neighbor came onto their front porch and burst through their door.
"I ran into the kitchen, and this man was laying on my floor, and he was bleeding, and he told us to help him," Miller said.
Police say the man, 35 year old Anthony Craig Goldsmith, had been living next door for no more than a week, with his girlfriend of a few months and her three children.
"He told us Marty did this. That was his last words," Miller said.
Police say the Marty he spoke of is Marty Slone, a 31 year old man who used to be in a long term relationship with Goldsmith's current girlfriend. Police say Slone drove from his home in Knott County, to her new home in Knox County and ultimately shot Goldsmith twice on their porch.
"There was nothing we could do and it's painful to watch someone die like that, a young man," Miller said.
Police say Marty Slone was arrested later Friday night and is currently being kept in a Knox County holding facility.
As for the Millers, they say they're now scared in their home of five years and say they want to move.
