Police are searching for a man who stole a woman's van right out from under her nose.
Police say the woman was talking on a payphone at the Thornton's on Redding Road about 7:30 a.m. on Monday. That's when the suspect grabbed her keys from her hands and took off in her van.
The victim didn't give up easy, according to police, the woman tried to open the door, but the suspect sped away. The woman was dragged for a short while, but received only minor injuries.
The suspect is described as a slender white man, 5''11, wearing a dark sweater and blue jeans.
The stolen van is a blue Dodge Carvan with the license plate number 683DAR.
