Police say they now know for sure who killed two employees of a package store near the Kentucky-Tennessee line three weeks ago.

That information comforts some in the small town of Cumberland Gap.

Many people in the small town of Cumberland Gap say they've been uneasy since two store employees were shot to death.

Peggy Fultz says she's comforted a little by the news that police say they now know for a fact who killed Ralph Hopper and Julie Maiden Kirby.

They say physical evidence links Williams Ashby to the crime.

Police say William Ashby took at least four lives in a rampage throughout the southeast.

But when cornered in Florida by police he shot himself.

They link bullets fired from his gun to bullets from the the workers at the Tunnel Two package store.

Peggy Fultz says it's good to know someone that could do such a thing is not still out there.

But despite the comfort, many people in this town say it doesn't bring back the two who lost their lives in such an awful way.
