Many drivers heading northbound on the Cumberland Gap Parkway were stuck for over two hours Monday night after a tractor trailer accident.
It happened around 6:30pm on US 25E in Meldrum, that's between Middlesboro and Pineville.
The truck spilled it's load of large pipes and when it came to a rest it was blocking the entire roadway.
Police say the driver of the truck was not seriously injured and they don't believe anyone else was involved in the accident.
The roadway is open again.
