The investigation is continuing into a head-on CSX train collision.
Two train engines collided early Tuesday morning in Catlettsburg - just off U.S. 23.
Four crew members on board were treated and released.
Officials confirm both locomotives were on the same track going opposite directions...now they want to know why.
Trains resumed running on the tracks Tuesday afternoon.
