Letcher County officials trying to bring in a federal prison will have some help.
Harlan County officials tell us they will enter into an agreement with Letcher, Pike, and Knott Counties.
Officials say that will enable them to apply for and use multi-county coal severance funds for the prison.
They say the facility could bring at least 350 jobs to the area.
