A former central Kentucky high school basketball star is once again in trouble with the law.

Police arrested Bud Mackey on Wednesday night in Lexington, this time for possession of a handgun by a felon and receiving stolen property.

A judge sentenced Mackey to sixty days in jail back in October for bringing cocaine onto Scott County High School's campus.

The judge gave him a reduced sentence at time time so it wouldn't interfere with Mackey's plans to start college this past January.

We never know when we or our children or anyone of our loved ones will ever face a difficult situation. Instead of being so judgmental and even racist, wait until the facts come out and then pray that this individual turns his life around. You may not be in the SAME situation but GOD can make it far worse on you by being so cruel to a fellow human being. Punishment, I agree. But to completely hope he fails in life is just being mean and hateful. Some of you question his upbringing (parents) and when you read some of your comments......(hatred, racism,spelling,etc...)
