Two, Violent Overnight Robberies in Lexington

Lexington Police were busy overnight after a woman was attacked and a man who tried to help was also jumped.

That incident happened on Simpson Avenue.

Police are investigating whether the same suspects could have been involved in a home invasion robbery moments later on Legion Drive.

The area is not far from the University of Kentucky campus.

One suspect has been arrested.
