Police say they are beginning a county-wide search for a missing man.
Officers say 37 year old Jeffery Gordon Bolen disappeared from his Floyd County home and no one knows where he is.
Jeffery Gordon Bolen's family says they see or talk to him almost everyday, but they haven't heard from him in more than a week.
"It's highly unusual. Everyone that knows Jeffery knows that he stops by, comes by, you know calls," Tamara Howard said.
Tamara Howard says she last saw her brother on October 17th and she believes something is wrong.
"With each passing day, just keeps getting more and more worried," Howard said.
She says Jeffery lives on Beech Branch back in the woods and you can't get a car to his cabin.
She says he always rode a pony down to the street and then rode a bicycle to wherever he needed to go.
She says Jeffery had a broken arm and told family was going to the doctor before he was last seen.
"We can't find any location where he's made an attempt to go to the doctor," Sheriff John K. Blackburn said.
Deputies say they've searched his path and can't find any signs of where he might be.
"His pony was still there when we were there looking around for him. The pony was approximately a half mile from where his cabin was," Sheriff Blackburn said.
They've officially declared him missing but say they don't suspect foul play at this time.
Tamara Howard says she just wants her brother to come back, "If he's got a problem, whatever it is, we'll work it out and we'd be happy to have him home."
She says they're not giving up hope until they find him.
Thursday Morning, rescue squads are starting a search in the woods near his home.
