A jury finds a former Oakwood employee not guilty of abuse.

Deanna Sumpter was accused of hitting patients at the facility and was facing criminal charges. It took the jury just 90 minutes to return the verdict last night at the Pulaski County Court House.

Fifteen people who worked at Oakwood have been arrested during the past two years on abuse charges, some pleading guilty.

Oakwood is the state's largest facility for the mentally handicapped.
